The Fifth International Symposium on Teaching Translation and Interpreting:
BA/MA Programmes - An International Perspective

will be hosted by the Faculty of Applied Linguistics and Cultural Studies of the University of Mainz

from 9 to 11 December 2004.

The symposium forms part of a series of conferences directed by Andreas F. Kelletat, and is financially supported by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). It will focus on the implementation of the Bologna recommendations in BA and MA programmes in translation and interpreting (two-cycle system, modularization, European compatibility etc.).

We invite papers (20 minutes) on any relevant aspect, in particular from the following fields:

The symposium will begin in the afternoon of 9 December and end in the afternoon of 11 December. The fee is 50 EUR.
