Subjects B.A. SKT

The Bachelor of Arts in Applied Linguistics, Cultural Studies, Translation and Interpreting focuses primarily on translation and offers an internationally recognised academic degree. It qualifies the graduate to enter the professional world or to enrol for further studies at a German or foreign university.

The Bachelor’s degree in Applied Linguistics, Cultural Studies, Translation and Interpreting is usually done in two languages: a B-language and a C-language. A third foreign language, a D-language, can be taken as a semi-elective. If the B-language is German or English, the course of study can also be pursued in just one foreign language.
